ISDN PRIMARY RATE RACK

anamux.gif

The Anamux Rack consists of an Industrial-strength mission-critical computer interfaced with Dialogic E1 (ISDN) and analogue cards. Calls to cell-phones The Anamux Rack converts the 30 ISDN channels on a Primary Rate port to analogue ports which in turn are connected to Unicell Cell Routers.

The result is an interface of the Primary Rate port on the PABX with the Unicell cell-routers. Although the interface is analogue the result is a virtual digital-to-digital connection between the ISDN port on the PABX and the cell-phone network.

The advantages of this system are:

Better quality and faster connection through ISDN circuitry of the PABX.

  • No lockup of ports
  • Positive disconnect
  • Better Least Cost Routing programming
  • Makes available 30 channels on one PABX port
International Calls:

Some or all of the ports available on the Anamux Rack can be interfaced with analogue extensions on the PABX through the TL101 Analogue Callback Dialers. This effectively routes international calls through the ISDN circuits

A 19" card frame in an aluminum rack populated with up to 8 Line Interface cards, one Trunk Interface card and a Power Supply Unit.To interface to an E1 trunk to 30 analogue ports, allowing connection to C/O lines or Fixed     Cellular Terminals (Cell Router / Premicells etc.)

Slot nine is reserved for the Trunk Interface card
I.C.P LED: In Circuit Programming is in progress
CHECKSUM ERROR:Indicates when there is a checksum error on the D-channel
CLOCK FAIL: Link has failed
FRAME SLIP: E1 frame slip error
SYNC LOSS: Synchronization failed
Heart’ LED: Indicates that the Trunk Interface card is active
Features:

  • 14 to 30 channels per rack
  • External fuse
  •  Monitor
  • Line current detection
  • Ring detection
  • Reversal detection
  • DTMF out dialing
  • In Circuit Programming
The LEDs indicate the voltages present on the power supply Inside the fuse holder is a 500mA fuse for protection.
