Email-to-SMS and SMS-to-email Gateway

SYSTEM SUMMARY :

Dial Telecoms SMS Software implements a multi-user technology enabling multiple networked clients to access the system and send SMS messages. All Users have access to the Mobile Directory and Groups to allow quick sending of messages to a single or multiple Mobile users.

Users can create often used templates to prevent repetitive typing, or to set Company wide message styles. A Template can then be selected when sending a message. Integration into third party/custom applications will enable access to these templates to enable, for example, an Insurance company to send SMS to their clients and certain information will be replaced with the relevant names, etc.

Message Scheduling is built-in to enable messages to be sent at a defined date or at regular intervals such as every Monday, or the 25th of each month and so on. Again these messages (using templates as well) can be send to multiple Mobile Numbers or Groups.

Integration into electronic mail enables users to send an email and have the email converted and sent to a mobile as an sms, or that user can send an sms to the sms server and have it converted to an email and sent to an email address. Incoming SMS can be sent as an email to the users email address.

The Dial Telecoms SMS server is able to make use of multiple GSM modems which enables this system to send and receive a much greater volume of messages. Furthermore these GSM units may be connected to a single PC or even to multiple PCs on a LAN or even a WAN.

The system is based on a 32-bit Microsoft Windows platform implementing true background services which can be set to Automatically start without user logon or intervention. The data is stored in a Microsoft SQL database giving secure storage and efficient use of Network bandwidth.

The next version will support Browser based client access to the SMS Server allows WAN based SMS sending. Users may also install the 32bit Client application on their Windows desktops.
