Remote control and telemetry with coM.s.a.t. CONTROL

Image

coM.s.a.t. CONTROL is ideal for applications necessitating the remote monitoring, measuring and control of facilities and systems situated at distant locations. Using coM.s.a.t. CONTROL, it is now possible to perform data communication via a mobile communications link, independent of the stationary network and at a favourable price. It is often uneconomic to set up a regular stationary communications system at distantly located facilities. The cost saving is one of the main benefits of using coM.s.a.t. CONTROL.

Features

With coM.s.a.t. CONTROL, it is possible to remote monitor and control systems and associated electrical devices from any location with GSM 900/1800 networks. Status reports are sent by coM.s.a.t. CONTROL via SMS or Email to the pre-configured receiver. In this way it is possible to monitor and control systems and associated electrically connected devices cheaply and quickly.

The advantages of coM.s.a.t. CONTROL

  •  Monitoring and control of systems via SMS
  •  Short commands or data transmission
  •  Status requests sent to connected devices within a second
  •  Alarm function with report sent to the central switchboard
  •  Fault repair possible via mobile phone
  •  Access protected by number code and password
  •  High level of security maintained through special data transmission if the SMS service is not available
  •  Individual adaptation and a variety of configurations are available in all applications

Applications: Measuring, controlling and monitoring with coM.s.a.t. CONTROL

By way of its open system, coM.s.a.t. CONTROL is flexible in its application and can be subjected to a variety of individual configurations to match the particular requirements. The following diagrams describe areas of application in which coM.s.a.t. CONTROL is already being used.

Vending machines

Vending machines which are connected to coM.s.a.t. CONTROL, for example drinks machines, send automatic messages when they need refilling or when operating faults occur. The vending machine operator then only needs to travel to the machine when there is a real need, since he is informed in advance of the machine's operating status.
