Dial Telecoms VoIP Press Release 20 February 2005

Dial Telecoms has launched a high quality, low risk VoIP communications solution for business organizations. The solution uses Quintum VoIP technology and Verizon-MCI's IP Network.

Companies can potentially realize substantial cost savings by implementing VoIP. However, the risk of reduced voice reliability and/or network disruption has prevented many organisations from taking full advantage of these savings opportunities. Quintum technology combined with the reliability of the Verizon IP Network virtually eliminates these risk factors - opening the door for companies to cut inter-office communication costs, consolidate call centres, and avoid long-distance phone charges.

We make use of Telkom ADSL or Diginet lines, V-Sat, Wireless or the customer's existing Service Provider to connect to our SIP server on the Verizon-MCI Network. We use the most cost-effective solution for each site. We work together with Verizons Consultancy and Network Design Services and with Quintum Technologies of America to ensure that each solution meets the technical, financial and business requirements of our customers, and is developed, implemented and managed on an ongoing basis.

Quintum Technologies specializes in voice over IP technologies that bring high levels of reliability and voice quality to Internet-based telephony. The Quintum Tenor features include PSTN fall over that eliminates risk from data network failure and congestion.

Quintum's unique Multipath technology diverts calls through Telkom if the VoIP circuits for any reason fail. This makes the Quintum solution risk free. Calls will always be completed. The telecommunication network, which is the nerve-centre of every business, will not be disrupted. We are conscious of our tremendous responsibility in ensuring seamless high-quality voice communications for our customers while saving them money.

The hassle-free part of the solution lies in the unique Quintum architecture that allows the equipment to be transparently and seamlessly integrated with existing PBX systems. Quintum Tenors offer virtually plug-and-play installation into existing data and telecom networks

Every business wants to reduce their communications costs. However they are unsure of the effects of merging their voice and data networks for fear that the quality of voice calls may be compromised. With Dial Telecoms Risk Free VoIP solutions, there is no need to worry. Indeed the voice quality on our solution is identical to the normal PSTN calls.

Dial Telecoms Risk Free VoIP solutions use existing PABX and telephone infrastructure to intelligently route inter-branch calls through the data network while retaining the existing voice lines as a backup.

Our technicians and operations personnel are fully trained and have the requisite know-how to implement Risk Free and hassle Free VoIP for companies. Our experience with PABX's and Least Cost Routing, and partnership with Quintum Technologies and Verizon puts us in an ideal position to ensure a smooth transition to VoiP.

We have a team with a diverse range of experience and skills. Using all the resources available to us we are able to plan creatively to integrate existing equipment and infrastructure with a VoIP solution. Businesses do not have to invest in totally new equipment to be up and running.

We are always conscious of our main goal, which is to reduce telecommunication costs. By seeking the most cost-effective solutions in each case we make sure that companies can make real cost savings. The major savings come from connecting branch-offices and business partners, suppliers and customers with free VoIP calls. International calls to normal landlines or Mobiles, including to neighbouring states and to Africa, can be also made at the lowest rates.

With ever-growing operational costs and competition, businesses must take advantage of cost-effective IT solutions that deliver the best return on investment. They must carefully consider the possible risks of outsourcing different elements of their communications networks as well as the benefits of merging them into one network. Ultimately, VoIP will become a standard communication technology that will enable most businesses to communicate more cost effectively not only internally but to customers and suppliers alike
